The Inside Story of the U.S./Israel Relationship - Truman to Obama

Learn about the twisting relationship between the U.S. and Israel during the administrations of Presidents Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Clinton, George W. Bush, and Obama.  The author of our recently-published core book, Dennis Ross, has been a direct participant in shaping U.S. policy toward the Middle East, and Israel specifically, for nearly 30 years.  He served in senior roles, including as Bill Clinton's envoy for Arab-Israel peace, and he was an active player in the debates over how Israel fit into the region and what should guide our policies.  This SDG will not be a platform for advocacy - but an objective learning experience about how nations make decisions and the back stories that shape those decisions.

The core book, “Doomed to Succeed” by Dennis Ross is available on Amazon.
