Colloquiums

PLATO organizes seven colloquiums a year where distinguished scholars, journalists, public figures; and other professionals  address a topic of wide interest. Past speakers include CEO of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Michael Govan; Loyola Law Professor, Laurie Levenson; renowned neurologist, Daniel Siegel;  UCI constitutional scholar, Erwin Chemerinsky; civil rights activist, Connie Rice; and Oscar winning producer, Walter Mirisch.

PLATO Colloquiums are held at the Skirball Cultural Center.   The public is welcome to attend.
